In any event this copy is not going to be resold. Generous citizens have raised the money for its purchase and it will be on display at the Ulster County Courthouse, the well intentioned gift of local citizens motivated to preserve and honor Kingston’s and the State of New York’s history. For this they are to be commended.

That newspaper writers and civic-minded donors can be tripped up by the complexity of old material is not surprising and not their fault.
