Tenth Annual Rose City Book & Paper Fair Set for June 3-4

The tenth annual Rose City Book & Paper Fair has been scheduled for Friday, June 3, and Saturday, June 4 this year. The City of Roses is Portland, Oregon, and every spring booksellers and collectors from the Northwest, a few from farther away, gather for one of the more enjoyable fairs on the schedule. Admission is cheap, Portland is beautiful, and the dealers bring an outstanding and extensive selection of all types of material in the books and paper field. This year will not be any different.

Fifty booksellers have signed up to exhibit at this year's show. There will be thousands of items from which to choose, including rare and antiquarian books, used books, bargain books, ephemera, and prints. This is an excellent opportunity for those just beginning to collect and looking for advice as well as those who already know precisely what they want.

The Rose City Fair is put on annually by the Cascade Booksellers Association. That's a new name, but the same host as prior years. The organization was formerly known as PAUBA – the Portland Area Used Booksellers Association. The new name reflects their dealers now reaching beyond just the Portland area.

Hours for the fair are Friday, June 3: 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, June 4: 10: a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Admission is just $3, and that goes to support the Oregon Food Bank.

The fair will again be held at the Double Tree at Lloyd Center, 1000 NE Multnomah in Portland.
