Six New Catalogues Reviewed This Month

Six new catalogues.

Six new catalogues.

The dog days of summer are the slowest time of the year for the preparation of new bookseller catalogues. This past month, we received only six. Oak Knoll Books offers a selection of miniatures, fine press, and books about books. The William Reese Company focuses on Native Americans. From David Lesser Fine Antiquarian Books, we have a new selection of Americana, along with a few British items. Peter Harrington presents a collection of material by Peter Rabbit's Mom, Beatrix Potter. John Windle Antiquarian Bookseller has a selection of children's books. Shapero Rare Books offers a grab bag of material called "Book Expectations."
