Two New Catalogues Reviewed This Month

Two new catalogues.

Two new catalogues.

This was another slow month for new catalogues. The coronavirus has changed all sorts of businesses, with the question being, will it ever return to “normal” when the virus goes away? Most likely, there will be a new normal, whatever that is.

This month we review two new catalogues. One is from Shapero Rare Books, entitled Baedeker & General Travel Guides. Baedeker is a German publisher of travel guides, in business since 1827. They published guides in English and French as well as German. The other catalogue comes from The Lawbook Exchange. Its title is Books, Manuscripts, Broadsides, Pamphlets and Ephemera on Law and Related Fields. America, Great Britain & Europe 16th to 20th Centuries.
