Once again it's time for Boxboro Paper Town. They feature all types of paper ephemera (and a few plastic and metallic items). It's no great secret that ephemera, once the stepchild of the printing press, has become highly collectible in recent years. It is still inexpensive, infinitely varied, and much of its appeal is that it stirs up memories of earlier times, both those in which we lived and those of our grandparents. If you head out to Boxboro, Massachusetts, on October 12, you will get a chance to experience the emotional draw of these memories yourself.
Promoter Flamingo Eventz explains, “Exhibitors from across the Northeast will gather to present an outstanding array of fine, rare & unusual old ephemera, books, maps, postcards, autographs, prints, posters, advertising, photographs, and much, much more. We are pleased to present as a Special Exhibitor Bob Perry with an extensive line of Ephemera Archival Supplies for sale. As always, we have appraisals by well-known appraiser John Bruno and guest appraisers from 12-2pm.”
The date is Saturday, October 12, 2024, and the fair will run from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The location is again the Boxboro Regency Hotel, 242 Adams Place, Boxboro. Admission is $8, $1 off with an ad or coupon. Young collectors 12-21 get in for $4. There is lots of free parking and food is available in the hotel restaurant.
