Five new catalogues are under review.

Five new booksellers' catalogues have come across our desk in the waning days of summer. Jordan Antiquarian Books has produced a catalogue of Americana, including many items pertaining to recreational travel a century or more ago. Waverly Books features literature, film-related material, and a very amusing letter from Rockwell Kent. James Pepper Rare Books offers items from a 16-year-old Truman Capote and Ernest Hemingway's mother in their collection of literature, film, and science fiction. The William Reese Company offers one hundred items of important historical Americana, featuring a letter from Thomas Jefferson with some biting comments directed toward the followers of Alexander Hamilton. From Kaaterskill Books comes a collection of Latin America, including an item from the personal library of the great anthropologist Adolph Bandelier.
