Down to the Wire

For the week ending Saturday November 3rd 34 auctions were archived to the AED.  Turnover was $36,634,712, 81% of the aggregate high estimate of all lots offered.  Eleven thousand one hundred and twelve lots were offered and 6,816 lots sold for a 61% success rate.  Sotheby’s and Christies did the heavy lifting with their prints and multiples sales, between them 587 lots brought $18,490,041 or $31,499 a lot.
