For the week ending Saturday February 9^th 16 auctions were archived to the AED; 3 in British pounds, 3 in euros and 10 in US dollars.  Three thousand five hundred and forty-one lots were offered and 2,572 sold for a 73% success rate.  Total turnover was $4,057,478.

One sale reached a million-dollars:

Guernsey’s.  The Hans Sachs Poster Collection – Day 1 on January 18^th:  $1,242,500

The Sachs sales, conducted in 3 parts over 3 days came within a hair of 3 million - $2,987,350

Three auctions saw their sales exceed 100% of the total of their high estimates:
